JUAA set to hold a drawing for a trip for two on a golf vacation to California
April 16, 2008
JACKSONVILLE, Fla. - The JU Athletic Association is holding a drawing that would fulfill many golfers' dreams. All the proceeds from the drawing will go to support JU athletics and its student-athletes. With the purchase of a $40 ticket, you could win a trip for two to the Carlsbad, Calif., and a day at the Callaway Golf Learning Facility - with time for instruction, including video, as well as a custom fitting for a new set of Callaway irons and woods. "This is a dream trip for most golfers - a chance to get a custom fitting a new set of clubs with some swing instruction as well," said JU assistant athletics director for external affairs Barry Milligan. "Thanks to the generous donation of Glenn Cohen and Callaway, we are going to make somebody's golf fantasy come true! Plus each purchase of a ticket gives money right back to JU Athletics" The winner and a guest will receive air fare to California and spend a day at the facility, getting instruction and video work that will lead to being custom fit for a new set of clubs. For more information on tickets, contact Kelli Skodinski in the JU athletic department at (904) 256-7680. |
